Privacy Policy
What I collect, why I collect it, and how I look after it.
Effective July 24, 2026. This policy applies to rohovibeswellness.com and to the sessions and services offered by ROHO Vibes.
ROHO Vibes is the Reiki and energy healing practice of Rosilyn Hart, based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. People come to this practice at tender moments in their lives, and the trust that takes is not something I hold lightly. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you visit this site, book a session, or reach out.
Information you give me
When you book a session
Booking is handled through Pocket Desk, a scheduling service, embedded on the booking page. When you book, the following is collected so I know who is coming and when:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The session you chose, and the date and time
- Anything you choose to write in the notes
When you contact me
If you send a message through the contact form, or email or call me directly, I receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you provide one, and whatever you write. I keep that correspondence so I can follow up properly.
When you pay
Payments are processed by PayPal, which also handles card and Venmo payments. Your card number never reaches me and is never stored on this website. PayPal shares only what I need to confirm a payment went through, such as the amount, the date, and your name. PayPal handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
What you share in a session
Some people tell me about their health, their grief, their stress, or what is going on in their body before or during a session. I treat anything shared with me as confidential. I do not sell it, publish it, or pass it along, and I will not use your name or your story in anything public unless you have told me I may.
ROHO Vibes is an energy healing practice. It is not a medical provider and does not bill insurance, so it is not a HIPAA covered entity. That is a statement about the law, not about my standards. I hold what you share in confidence regardless.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how people find and move through it, which pages are useful, and what is not working. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology and may collect your approximate location, your device and browser type, the pages you visit, and how long you stay. It does not tell me your name.
You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine either way.
How I use your information
- To schedule, confirm, prepare for, and follow up on your session
- To take payment and keep accurate records of it
- To answer the question you asked me
- To send you appointment reminders and, if you have asked for them, occasional notes from the practice
- To understand how the website is being used so I can make it better
- To meet my obligations as a business, including tax and accounting records
What I will never do
I do not sell your information. I do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. If that ever changed, I would say so here first and give you the chance to opt out before it happened.
Who else touches your information
Running a small practice means using a handful of trusted services. Each of them sees only what it needs to do its job:
- Pocket Desk, for scheduling and client records
- PayPal, for processing payments, including card and Venmo
- Google Analytics, for website statistics
- Vercel, which hosts this website
- Email and text providers, for confirmations and reminders
I may also share information where the law requires it, or where it is genuinely necessary to protect someone's safety.
Email you have asked for
If you sign up for the newsletter or download something from this site, I will use your email address to send you what you asked for and occasional notes from the practice. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and one click is all it takes. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not affect appointment confirmations or reminders for a session you have booked.
How long I keep things
Client and session records are kept for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterward, so that if you come back to me in two years I still know your history. Payment and tax records are kept as long as the law requires. Website analytics are kept on Google's standard retention schedule. If you would like your information removed sooner, ask me and I will do it wherever I am not legally required to keep it.
Your choices
- See what I have. Ask, and I will tell you what information about you I hold.
- Correct it. If something is wrong, tell me and I will fix it.
- Have it deleted. Ask, and I will delete what I am not required to keep.
- Stop the email. Use the unsubscribe link, or just tell me.
- Turn off analytics. Use the opt-out linked above, or your browser settings.
Reach me any of the ways listed at the bottom of this page and I will take care of it.
Keeping it safe
This site is served securely over HTTPS. The services I use are established providers with their own security practices. No system anywhere is perfectly secure, and I will not pretend otherwise, but I do not collect more than I need, and I do not keep what I no longer have a reason to hold.
Young people
This website is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them. Sessions for anyone under 18 need a parent or guardian to arrange and consent to them. If you believe a child has given me information, contact me and I will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means the updated policy applies.
